circles-of-influence1Another online success tip and today sharing more leadership characteristics with the third of the five principle laws of success. Number three is The Law of Influence.

Your influence is determined by how abundantly you place other peoples interests before your own.

To do this again you must be focused on them. What is their dream? What is their main goal or as I like to call it what is there why? What I mean by there why is this, why is it they would be willing to get up off of the couch and learn this business?

Why would they be willing to start taking massive action? More family time, freedom, money there could be many reasons it’s your responsibility to find out what and help them to a resolution. Not for you, for them. This is leadership and development at its core and the mind set you need to be.

In order for you to achieve you need to put other peoples needs ahead of your own and help them achieve. As you help others achieve you will naturally achieve. If you do not help others you won’t achieve your goals and everyone looses out.

Many people get caught up worrying about where they are, what they have not accomplished or why they have not been recognized when if they would just get this principle it would change things for them dramatically.

If your keeping score that is another no, no. Meaning you help somebody and then say to yourself well hey why have they not done anything for me? Who are you focusing on? There is no room for well I did this why didn’t they reciprocate?

No, you served them because you said you would. As people understand you to be helping them selflessly that is when they will begin to truly trust you and that is when you gain influence over them these are all leadership characteristics.

I can think of many mentors I have had that could have said they did a lot more to benefit me than I did them. You know what it never happened and that is what makes a mentor, alot of it is mind set.

It’s the times you serving and getting a little frustrated, maybe it feels like you are not getting anything back that is when you are earning your blessings. Become the person people strive to be around and success will come. See you for more leadership and development training soon.
